Based on a report in The Indian Express, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Union minister of state for Health and Family Welfare, said that the government is targeting to ease poorly patients from economic constraints and provide inexpensive treatment to all sections of the society.

The minister pointed out that the government was keeping a close watch on the sale of costly stents. Moreover, Choubey said that the government is keeping an eye on those who are still selling expensive stents against the prescribed order by the Union government. All such person or entities are subjected to the strict actions if found guilty.

The minister declared that his ministry is looking forward to a healthy India.
